Meet The Executive

Adam is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, a Registered Tax Agent and has been a part of Barassi & Co since 1991. Adam works to build effective relationships with clients, allowing his expertise to be applied to their unique circumstances.

A keen football fan, Adam is involved at Doncaster Junior Football Club where he is a past-president and life member.

Ken established Barassi & Co in 1979. His roles in supporting a wide range of businesses have broadened his experience over many years.

In joining Barassi & Co several years ago, Joy strengthened the range of services available through her successful accountancy business.

Greg joined Barassi & Co in 2004 and has become an integral part of the firm.

As a qualified Chartered Accountant, Greg has a strong technical knowledge. He is largely responsible for our SMSF clients as well as small business taxation & GST advice.

In terms of our Clients, Greg is committed to providing each one with the personal attention required to ensure all their taxation and other business obligations are met in the most stress free manner as possible. He will leave no stone unturned when searching for strategies to improve each client’s tax position.

Greg is a father of three girls, enjoys AFL and basketball, and is an active runner and cyclist.

Mikki has worked in the accounting field for eight years and joined Barassi & Co. in March 2024.

His focus is on our Company Clients.

Academically, he has a Bachelor of Accountancy and he loves Tax. He has enjoyed his time with us as it has honed his skills in Australian Accounting and Tax and given him the opportunity to deliver great financial reports for our clients.

Mikki enjoys playing volleyball and chess. He is also a traveller, movie goer and online gamer.

Akshay joined Barassi & Co. as our Trainee Accountant in October 2025.

He previously worked as an Accounting and Admin Intern and as a Volunteer in JCYCN Nepal and ARCs Services.

He is enjoying his work here as no two days are the same and there is always an environment to continually learn something new. Most importantly he has a desire to deliver a high quality and efficient service for our clients.

Akshay enjoys playing and watching a lot of outdoor sports along with e-sports. He enjoys playing guitar and jamming with his friends.

Deb was a long term client of Barassi & Co. well before becoming our Office Manager in August 2023.

She has extensive experience in Marketing and Communications within large Corporate Professional Services Firms; and qualifications across Accounting, Human Resources, and Marketing.

Having been a Client she is invested in continuing the care and personal service that Barassi & Co. has been built on.

Deb loves to travel, eat great food with friends, and is excited about watching her newly arrived Grandchild thrive.

Richie is new to the accounting world and joined us in November 2024 as our receptionist. Along with Deb, he will often be your first contact when phoning or visiting the office.

His friendly, professional and helpful nature will ensure you are well looked after.

He is studying Science at Melbourne University and intends on pursuing a career in Marine Biology.

Richie currently plays football at Collegians Football Club; coaches football at the school, occasionally surfs and loves music.
